Yoga WALX Module

This programme provides instructors and leaders the skills and knowledge needed to teach a gentle walk with a hatha yoga infusion. It is well documented the benefits of Yoga include:

 

  • increased flexibility
  • increased muscle strength and tone
  • improved respiration, energy and vitality
  • maintaining a balanced metabolism
  • cardio and circulatory health
  • protection from injury

 

With the inclusion of walking the benefits are increased, specifically for cardiovascular health and mental wellbeing.

 

Instructors  on this programme will learn how to lead a YOGA WALK session to a mixed ability group in an outside environment.

All learners must complete the pre-reading module (online) to aid their yoga understanding
