Course Overview

This is without doubt the most comprehensive Nordic walking instructor qualification available, combining in-depth knowledge of both fitness walking and Nordic walking techniques with a structured delivery plan which gives you the skills to set up, promote and maintain an outdoor health and fitness class programme suitable for all levels. All graduates leave with the training, systems and tools required to launch and deliver the award-winning NWUK FREEDOM programme straight away!

Developed by the team who brought Nordic walking to the UK in 2003, wrote the YMCA Awards Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Walking and devised the methods published in the best-selling ‘Complete Guide to Nordic Walking’ (Bloomsbury Press), the Diploma programme combines professional industry qualifications with proven client and small-business management skills, delivered by tutors who are successful in their own Nordic walking businesses.

At Nordic Walking UK, we recognise that simply teaching a ‘technique’ does not provide the skills required to build successful outdoor classes that will attracts customers and keep them coming back.
