A former successful track and field Athlete, Fabio discovered Nordic walking in 2002 following an injury. In 2004 he became one of Italy’s first Instructors and taught thousands of people in the following years.

He is the founder and Director of the Nordic Walking Italian School (SINW – Scuola Italiana Nordic Walking) one of the largest and most successful NW associations in the world. The school was founded in 2008 and now has approaching 3,000 Instructors. Fabio is a self- confessed technique perfectionist and has spent years with his network of master trainers developing a structured system of training which includes wellness, sport, medicine and rehabilitation. Fabio, who is also a web marketing and internet communications specialist and has also produced the first Italian language DVD called Nordic Walking – an open air gym and he still retains his links with Athletics as a coach for the Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) and a speed walking Master Trainer!

Fabio’s expertise and enthusiasm for Nordic walking is legendary and can be witnessed at his highly successful Nordic walking events in Rome, Venice and Siena.
