I just love Nordic walking. You can do it at your own pace and with lots of different people so it’s fun, social and at whatever exercise level fits for you. What’s not to like? And Suzanne takes her teaching seriously, so you’ll get good training, plus advice, hints, tips and help to order poles and wrist bands.
Suzanne is a professional teacher and guide who manages to make exercise enjoyable! A walk that I would otherwise find demanding becomes exhilarating, and the chance to explore new areas of the Forest in a relaxed, social environment is very special experience.
Almost passed out when I opened this week’s earnings, it’s been my best ever amount. I do have to pay my Assistant out of this amount but still OMG!!! I can’t believe it. I’m so excited, it really can happen, how did that happen!! Did I do that!! Sorry I’m quite delirious…
Just wanted to let you know I am having a fantastic weeks skiing in Austria, conditions perfect. The ski fit class has been brilliant prep and has stood me in good stead for some challenging runs so wanted to say a huge thank you.
A good start to 2017 – my first ever oversubscribed Taster! Just need to find a suitable weekend slot for the extras (plenty of space on the midweek one!). Also a good split of 5 men and 7 women of those on the Taster. Even had someone book at lunchtime on Christmas Day! All I’ve got to do is up my game to cope with my largest group to date.
We would also like to thank Martin our instructor from NWUK for the 2 days in house training at Warners Hotels, I can not say enough but the best instructor of a course I have ever had. We loved every minute and what a great experience this will bring to each Warners site. We have come away very excited and blown away.
Bedtime on a Sunday night. How many people nationwide are dreading their work week starting tomorrow? Not me. Kit’s ready. Route planned. Busy group tomorrow. Pinch myself sometimes that my Monday will start with a lovely walk with equally lovely people.
But it wasn’t always like this. 2 years ago there may have only been 3 booked on. (I wasn’t using the booking system then)… 1 would drop out cos of illness, 1 cos it was raining!! So to all those DPs just starting out… don’t give up, don’t despair. Keep plugging away because it WILL come good. And you’ll be sat with a smug grin on your face on a Sunday night just like me!
I was looking for an exercise class to help keep me fit despite bad knees and other health problems and so discovered Kerley’s Wellbeing class being held in the local park.
It’s brilliant, out in the fresh air, at your own pace, non competitive (no Lycra in sight) with a great group of people but most importantly supported by Kerley who provides a structured programme of exercises and walking, combined with empathy to individual members needs.
She has created a safe and happy environment, you complete the session uplifted and with a smile on your face, feeling that you are helping yourself to stay fit.
Just finished the 4 week ‘Learn to Nordic walk’ course and can highly recommend it. Perfect introduction back into fitness for me after pregnancy. Ian is an excellent instructor – extremely enthusiastic and motivating whilst also considering individual needs. Can definitely feel the benefits even after a few weeks! Looking forward to booking on to a few adventure and work out walks in the summer 🙂 Thanks Mercian
Following retirement I joined a Nordic Walking group as I wanted some form of exercise but without having to join a gym. I have to say that it has exceeded all my expectations, not only is it a very sociable way of keeping fit and in the fresh air, but I feel more toned up, and it has motivated me to start eating more healthily. I feel it has added another dimension to my life and Kerley and Ted are excellent instructors, always full of encouragement. Thank you.
